Happy Holidays!

Hey Readers,

First we want to say thanks for following along with us as we’ve gotten this thing up and running. We know we didn’t really do a Thanksgiving post, but we’re thankful for you! We hope you’re enjoying reading our posts as much as we’re enjoying writing them.

We’re going to be taking this week off to travel, spend time with family, and enjoy the holiday weekend but we’ll be back next week with new posts.

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, something else, or none of the above, we hope you’re enjoying the season and getting to spend some quality time with family and friends.

Safe Travels and Happy Holidays,

-Carley & Lianna-

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!

Take time to relax and enjoy the holiday with your family, friends, or whoever else you celebrate with. Try not to think about the election or Donald Trump. If you are a split-political family, I feel sorry for you and hope that you and your loved ones can get past that. We are lucky enough to have a family that largely agrees with or at least understands our views and ideologies.

We hope that you’ll come back from Thanksgiving ready to join us in the fight to protect our rights and save our country from a particular orange monster trying to destroy it.

The Beginning

We are Carley and Lianna, two sisters who discovered one day that we both wanted an outlet to talk about the things that occupy our minds on a daily basis and neither of us had any idea how to get started with a blog. So we decided that two heads are better than one and figured we’d try it together.

Our title is “today we talk…” and what comes next could be just about anything. Some days we’ll talk politics. Other days we’ll talk fashion, or pop culture, or a new product we love. Whatever we can’t stop thinking about will show up here.

And conversation is a two-way street, so we hope you’ll let us hear from you, too. We want to know what you think, even if you think we’re wrong. Feel free to disagree with us and start a discussion. All we ask is that you be respectful.

Thanks for joining us on our blog journey!
